How wonderful!! Here is my story. At 40 years old I had a full hysterectomy. I had HRT for about 3 years. My fabulous female endocrinologist passed away from leukemia. I didn't understand the importance of continuing my HRT treatment. At that time, there was a lot in the news regarding HRT and a possible link to breast cancer. Fast forward twenty years, I am now 66 years old with osteoporosis and every other symptom you mentioned. (I am also a kidney transplant patient)
Whenever I bring up the idea of HRT at age 66 years old, the doctors laugh and say "too late" and they want to treat the osteoporosis.
Do you think I would be a candidate for HRT patch or has too many years passed since my hysterectomy? Are you going to a gynecologist or endocrinologist for your treatment?
Thanks so much for letting me know your FABULOUS experience with HRT. It truly sounds like the fountain of youth!
