Reclast infusion long term side effects

@osteopatient2026 I did what gently posted plus one extra day of 8 8oz cups of water, 650 mg Tylenol every 4 hours I think. Other than a bad headache (very short lived, on day 5) and maybe a little tired no problem. Asked doc for a slower drip; he told me to call infusion center. Infusion center said never heard of that. In and out in 30 minutes, start to finish, including time to make sure you don't have a reaction. I believe actual infusion was 15 minutes (that's what Novartis specifies on the drug literature). Just an FYI in case you do need to follow up with Reclast.

@jozer I'm glad you are doing well. I do not understand the hesitancy of infusion centers to do a slower infusion. I have my Reclast infusions done at a major medical center, and they have no problem doing a 45 minute infusion if I ask for it. When my doc puts in the order it automatically says 30 minutes, but he just tells me to ask for the 45. I really do think it makes a difference.
