@pennylynn Hi ! No biopsy just bloodwork. I couldn’t believe it was negative because my eyes stay terribly dry also. I was told I had hypothyroidism( in my late 20’s) then Hashimoto’s ( in my 60’s). I’m so confused. My doctor never checked me for Hashimoto’s until I started gaining a lot of unexplained weight. I need a new doctor!!!!

When my hashimotoes turned into Graves’ disease I gained weight. Most people lose weight with this. When the endocrinologist checked my antibodies I had antibodies to both hashimotoes and Graves’ disease. These autoimmune diseases have a mind of their own. After trying meds for the Grave’s disease I had radioactive iodine. It took me two years to feel better, that was the best decision I’ve ever made. Good luck with answers.
