By what percentage did your T-scores improve after a round of TYMLOS?

Posted by kathm650 @kathm650, Jun 5, 2025

I am trying to decide whether to make the commitment to try TYMLOS. I have read reactions to the side effects and some saying their scores did increase in this support group.

I would like to ask those that took TYMLOS reply to this post with percentage increase or their improved T-score. Likewise, if you didn’t seen any change (or decrease), can you let me know that too?

I am thinking that if the majority saw high improvement then maybe the side effects are worth it!

Thank you!

@loriesco I have heard of some patients having more of a delayed response to Tymlos. If your 2nd years results are still not too good, you could try forteo or evenity. Let us know how it goes. Best wishes to you.

Yes in the last year I’m reading about a lot of patients going to Evenity before longer term med.

@roseincalifornia the nurse assistant already told me that the first year is when the best results occur. So they expected 6.8% instead of 1.6% and that the second year is less. That corresponds to what I read in the research that the first year shows the best results the second year the increased decline. However, well, however, I’m going to approve them wrong! 😉 they already offered me to switch to a vanity, but I said no I want to finishthe two years on the TYMLOS and then we’ll figure out where we go from there. Thank you for the well wishes!
