@highmtnview Yes, I saw a study, can't remember who pointed it out to me, and this would be about six-eight weeks ago now, that the Watchman is not enjoying a long-term study's thumb up. It turns out that there is a lot more chance of leakage from them than is evident from initial reports, so we may find that something better will have to come along and replace it. More to follow...I hope. Thanks for the reminder.

I hope that further research finds that we need to install Watchmen differently or do other follow-up so that their efficacy improves, and that's only if further study continues to show they have problems. It may only be 'operator error.'

Not really a reassuring feeling knowing that they are learning as they go while working on you. But part of the process I guess. I wonder if they ever tell a patient that they are the first patient Dr.X is working on since graduating.😊

I’ll have to look for the studies since I just had the watchman recommended for me.
