Dear Tj - you would be very surprised to hear that whey protein is very sweet naturally (due to lactose which is a sugar and naturally found in milk) and soy milk is naturally sweet due to sugars present in a soy bean. Whey shake smells and tastes like vanilla ice-cream to me BUT if you need extra flavoring it is easy to add your own. You can add stevia or monk fruit powder for sweetness or just add your favorite fruit - like banana and also add vanilla extract or cinnamon powder , I mean choices are endless. If you like chocolate flavor than you can add unsweetened cocoa powder etc.. You can mix whey with water or soy milk or almond milk, oat milk etc etc or any combination above mentioned. BTW - whey powder was recommended in a book titeld : "How to Prevent and Treat Cancer with Natural Medicine" and that book is endorsed by
"Cancer Treatment Centers of America" and is written by doctors. I f you wish to read about extensive research about whey you can find some info here :

Please make sure that whey is either organic or derived from milk of grass fed cows.
