Still waiting for an undetectable PSA but I don't think that's in the cards.

I have been stage four since 2018, PSA is <0.1, am on lupron shots and xtandi pills.

I was diagnosed with de-novo stage 4 oligometastatic in October 2021. Currently N.E.D. (no evidence of disease, PSA < 0.01). I'm on long-term Orgoxyx and Apalutamide.

Some of those stats your husband's doctor cited are for people diagnosed well over 10 years ago, before current treatments were in widespread use, but it's all they have available. We're creating the new stats now.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 in Nov 2021.

I was then put on hormone therapy. Side effects are mild. In 2023 I moved to another state (I had a moving company move the big stuff).

Despite being warned not to buy a two-story house at my age, I go up & down the stairs so many times a day that I don't count.

I'm living a normal healthy life five years later at 81. I mow my own lawn & walk 1.5 miles a day when the weather permits.

I became stage four about six years ago, 10 years after my prostatectomy. I do have a genetic problem of BRCA2, which is why I got it at 62. That’s along with the fact that my father died at prostate cancer at 88 and that more than double my chance of getting it.

After 16 years, I’ve been undetectable for the last 33 months.

I have been stage 4 metastatic to the bone high volume for over 4 years. I became undetectable 10 to 11 months after diagnosis and have remained undetectable castrate sensitive. I will get my next PSA in 3 months. Men are remaining castrate sensitive longer, some never become castrate resistant, and the stats are showing men living 10+ or more now.

Originally diagnosed at 67 years old with GG3 Gleason 4+3 intermediate risk in fall 2023. I was then diagnosed at 68 years old with stage 4a in January 2025. Just six months after an IRE ablation procedure when pelvic lymph node involvement was detected from a psma-pet scan. Prescribed 40 pelvic IMRT and Orgovyx and Zytiga w/Prednisone for 2 years. I have six months yet to go on the ADT and ARPI. My PSA has been undetectable for about a year now. I'm hoping it will continue that way after cessation of the drugs.

I have been on firmagon shots and xtandi pills for over 2 years.Diagnosed with stage 4 with metastesis to bones lungs and lymph nodes.Did radiation to my spine immediately after
diagnosis because they said I would be confined to a wheelchair.I refused chemo opting for
a change in diet .I walk for over 2 hours on most days and try to keep moving and busy.
Dr.Scholz says stats reveal that stage 4 patients can take a break from adt and return later
safely.I am 65 years pld and curious if anyone tried this?

Metastatic PC spread to multiple bones, lymph nodes, and lungs
Gleason 9
55 years old

Triple therapy of Eligard, Nubeqa, Docetaxel (completed late march)
28 Rounds of radiation completed beginning of June

Last PSA was 1.8. Next blood work in 4 weeks.
April scan showed lung spots gone and everything else greatly reduced or gone (other than prostate which still lit up pretty good)

Feel good other than extreme joint aches and pains, hot flashes, and fatique. Working full time and exercise every day (walking, Peloton, strength)
