@jennroseclark I am just curious. Does the sober living know you are having two a day? If there is an AA Big Book there, I suggest reading the first 164 pages. Can't hurt, might help. I lost my partner of 28 years from alcoholism. I found him dead in the floor. He did not believe it would kill him. I guess, part of me did not either, but he was 56. His liver was spent, pancreas, varicies in his esophagus and I had already taken him to the ER 6 times in the span of a year. This is just to let you know that sometimes the bottom is like his and people sometimes, do not come back. Alcohol and other drugs do that, more than not. I want you to live.

@diverdown1 oh no I haven't had even a sip in over 30 days I get drug tested weekly and if they want any time so I no longer even take or look at beer in a store it's 15 minutes and you are on the street lettereally it's a VERY strict program all ua tests have alcohol tests on them so it's zero tolerance and yes they know my past and everything about my life currently I don't even take a sip it's not worth it,I already know our tests are very sensitive I have seen alcohol show up on one not mine 8 days after consuming. Lol no I am alcohol free 100*/*
@diverdown1 She means 2 prayers a day. She's got a solid program going.

I have been sober for 1 year and twenty nine days. I go to my AA meetings and have great friends and people who have been through what I have been through my whole life , which was alcohol controlling it. Last year I went into a coma , and then I had to learn how to walk again , talk again and basically learn to love life again. Im currently on the list for a liver transplant. Chose life over alcohol!! Your sister needs to make that choice.
