Thank you very much for your comments . No, I have not taken Cipro before . I think I figured out what was happening. Using the rinse bottle and squeezing in each side of the nose, the meds water was running over the top of my fingers that I had wrapped around the rinse bottle . I did not have on gloves ! Needless to say , I now am wearing gloves for every treatment . Course this does not account for my dizziness so I have to think it’s the meds in the rinse that’s causing it . I do see my ENT Dr this Thursday so hopefully will receive more definitive assessment ! Thanks again and all the best , Kay

@kaybast I don't know what oral antibiotics topically will do, but it's a good hypothesis. You can call a doc anytime if you think the meds are causing problems. The dizziness is a concern. I wouldn't wait. I'm always concerned when I need gloves for meds I'm putting in my body. I was a Chemo RN and I won't put that stuff in me either. (I cured my own cancer.) Special gloves, tubing , and disposal units. Yikes! I've gone holistic in my old age for a good reason. Do you have chronic sinus infections? They claim that the antibiotic doesn't go systemic with the sinus rinses but anything that goes into you becomes systemic after awhile. Another lovely side effect of Cipro is dizziness.
