Abdominal binder (a wide elastic with velcro that is wrapped around your torso). it's for after surgery to support an abdominal incision. The hospital staff will ask if you want one. I found it helpful.

@judithw Interesting. My niece donated a kidney a week and half ago at Mayo Phoenix. She was not offered any binder. She went on Amazon and bought wide band yoga type pants to add a little pressure on her abdomen. A couple of people on the staff who saw her during her stay (she doesn't remember who) also told her that Mayo gives a cute character plushie kidney, to donors but she never received one. She was wheeled into the hall near the nurse's station where staff clapped for her, read a thank you statement, and had her ring a bell. Otherwise, it was a typical hospital stay.
