@karukgirl @crystalena Yes, I have done a bit of Sashiko! It reminds me of slow-stitching, and needs to be accurately placed since it is done by using contrasting fabric and thread! I am mostly a quiltmaker and writer. Being able to translate a "mind's eye view" into words or fabric is a challenge I eagerly take on!

@gingerw Wonderful , I like to hear about others visions and motives . I have a dear friend ( a neighbor of 24 yrs) that is a seamstress . She takes orders for quilts and even children’s clothing . She amazes me . I am kind of a dabbler . I did a lot of embroidery over the years . I make whimsy things - I have my left hand in a bandage and splint here for a bit . I am hoping to do more Sashiko . For this “ age of the splints and casts ”. I am doing a bit of slow stitching while I wait. Sew nice to hear from you, Blessed Be, Crystal
