Has he .. or you .. kept a diary or journal of what he eats or drinks that make his symptoms worse? For instance .. cold or hot foods and drink. Spicy foods or specific foods as milk and dairy, wheat, soy? Have you had an allergist do testing for food allergies or intolerance?

I am not allergic to milk .. I am intolerant to its protein no matter if it is cow, soy, rice, or almond milk. It is painful if I ingest them. If mixed and cooked … like with cake I do okay. Instant pudding I hurt. .. but cooked pudding okay.

I know your son needs a good pediatric gastroenterologist to sort it out. Who that is probably depends on where you are at. A network like Mayo Clinic or other teaching hospital are going to be your best choices to find one.

Best wishes,

@fourof5zs we have done a lot of those things except for the allergy test, they just keep trying different medicines and he has had every test done . If they don’t figure it out soon. Then he may be going to a Mayo Clinic soon enough because 6 Years of him laying around and having no quality of life is long enough for him to suffer, he had to take a medical leave from school and he’s 16 years old. It’s about time we get this figured out.
