My husband went to his hospital to do uPSA couple of times and the wait was day or 2 - NEVER came the same day. The results came as "slow" as in WalkInLab , BUT, perhaps SKH is more expeditious : )

@surftohealth88 I'm sorry to hear that. I used to wait a couple of days, too, until I realised that I could go to the hospital clinic instead of the private lab I was using (privately owned, but still funded by OHIP), since the cancer centre is affiliated with the hospital. At my hospital clinic, someone comes every hour with a cart, chats with the phlebotomists for a couple of minutes, then wheels the blood samples down the hall to the lab, so there's no shipping delay.

Some U.S. hospitals belong to chains (or HMOs, or whatever they're called), so they might have one lab serving multiple hospitals for "efficiency". 😕
