I can say I’m happy taking Tymlos, although it’s only been three months. It has gotten easier to give myself injections, so that part is a non-event.
My last visit with my GP, I mentioned being on Tymlos and asked the doctor if she has any other patients taking Tymlos. Her response was she has one person on Prolia, which isn’t even the same type of drug.
The lack of knowledge by professionals about these drugs frustrates me. Maybe there should be a focus on having a specialty that covers osteoporosis and the various treatment options.
I’ve learned more on this site than I’ve learned from my endocrinologist. Thank you to all here who share their knowledge and suggestions.
