I've been better. With all the sitting around in the car and at the doctors' and other medical offices, I've gained some weight and that's been depressing. I can't seem to get back on track with my diet and the lack of prognosis for my husband's situation hasn't helped. Thanks for checking in, I really appreciate it.

@christinemb, caregiving can be all-consuming. It can be a real challenge to take care of your health. First, I would say, be kind to yourself. And do what you can do. Even little things can help. For example, when you drop off your husband for his appointments, are there places you can walk instead of waiting in the car? Do you like to like to podcasts or music and walk?

@sdsharp, the family get together must've been hard. I bet your husband didn't want to be in such pain with visitors and your daughters found it hard to see him that way. It's a harsh dose of reality and what is going on. And you? How are you keeping it all going? What or who supports you through this?
