Need total back surgery

I'm waiting on bone density build up for total back reconstruction with rods etc. Lost 7" in body length. Anyone have this done? Wondering what recovery will be like.

@walker13 Too bad you didn't get a second opinion. I had fusion of L5-S1 back in 2017, Did not help my lower back/buttock pain.

Placing rods and multiple screws and whatever else to straighten out my spine the best they can. It's severely crooked. Cut from base of neck to lowest part of back to do.

@walker13 my brother had radiation for cancer and lost 5 inches in height. I had never seen such a thing. He died the next year from the cancer.
