Hi Kat @kat044, Welcome to Connect. I can't imagine how difficult it is for you do go through something like you did, especially at your job working place. Have your doctors suggested or started any treatments to help with the pain? Do you have any family or relatives close by?

Welcome to Connect! I'm so, so sorry to hear about what happened to you. I'm fortunate in that pain is not one of my neuropathy symptoms, but what has hit me like a sledgehammer is your saying you have no friends. Is that just current circumstances, or has this been a situation that has gone on for a long, long time? It may be only a band-aid, but consider Connect as a place to visit, read, learn, post questions, and, in a virtual way, get to know a few people. As I say, it may be only a band-aid, but at least it's something.

@kat044 I am sorry that you had to go through this. Why do you not have any friends? Not a good feeling I'm sure. Remember, Joshua 1:5 tells us, 'God will never leave us nor forsake you'.
