As a caregiver, it is very important that your experiences with your mom and Carlos are shared. As the loved ones of family, we may see changes in our loved ones and possibly our bringing it up may urge them towards a Dr or a 2nd opinion. My sister had stomach problems for decades per her husband. Having them and the symptoms made those symptoms accepted. When severe pain got her to a DR, ovarian cancer was found. Later gastro issues that led to a G tube. From 2023 July to May 31st, 2026, she fought to stay live. She lost her life on the 31st.
Caregivers like my sister's husband will likely never use this resource here at Mayo Connect. Yet, there will be other family and friends who do. You being here @hopeful33250 will be a blessing.
