Evenity treatment and its effectiveness
Can those of you on Evenity tell me exactly how much improvement you have had and what, if any, side effects you have experienced. My doctor has recommended Evenity, and i am trying to make a decision. Thank you.

I stopped Evenity after 7 months due to almost constant severe head and neck pain. Probably will return to Prolia with which I had no adverse side effects. Not sure yet whether there was any bone building improvement in that time period.
@perpetua
Sorry to hear about you experience with Evenity. May I ask if Prolia was the only bone med prior to Evenity and if so for how long?
I've done an 18 month course of Tymlos and am just about to get my last dose of Evenity. Reclast next. No side effects with either medication, although I did have to discontinue alendronate as my first attempt due to intense GERD.
This report shows the progress (2025 scores are after Tymlos and 2026 after Evenity)--good but not startling. I've never had any fracture (knock wood) and am 68.

I took Fosamax many years ago for about 2 years. I did not experience any side effects but stopped treatment upon reading accounts of jaw problems from the med. For several years I took no medicine for bones but a few years ago started Prolia out of Dr.'s expressed concern that that the risk of a fracture without treatment was greater than potential side effects of
Prolia. In December of 2025 I changed to Evenity with hopes of building bone not just maintaining it. No results yet on the Dexa just administered.
