What increases the risk of A-fib?

For me the triggers were stress, poor sleep (obstructive apnea), and 2nd martini, with emphasis on stress. I had about a half dozen episodes over 18 months, each lasting a max of 5 hours. I haven't had another episode since my PF ablation in January 2025 (touch wood). Still get occasional palpitations (PVCs, PACs). Currently on 25mg metoprolol, Xarelto and CPAP machine. Considering a Watchman procedure.

@nevets I just learned my trigger is alcohol! 4 oz of wine was ok but more was not! Disappointed with myself not switching to water !
