My husband had resection July 2024. Followed up with radiation and chemo (TMZ). Using the Optune device from Novacare. Fast forward to Feb 2026. Tumor coming back in previous location, and also mid-line. Tumor board declined to do further surgery. Infusion chemo every 3 weeks, along with an oral chemo every 6 weeks. He can’t drive-lost peripheral vision on left side 12/2025, also has numbness in left hand and foot. Needs help to dress himself, which makes him angry. Definite personality change. Neuro-onocolgist says I need to start thinking about hospice. Unsure how much more chemo ahead, will depend on how next MRI looks. Only God knows how much time he has left.

@kujhawk79 I’m sorry he has changed so much-I’m beginning to deal with some of this. It’s nerve wracking to never know who he will he be moment to moment. People will say be strong-it means you are always on guard. You lose yourself in the tragedy of what once was with every gesture, every emotion.
