My husband understands and gives time, care, cuddling and anything else I need. I said CUDDLING not coddling. During my extreme pain I need any and all care possible. Even keeping my ice drink I love always at my side. Now, one could say ‘get it yourself, “. Just managing to get out of bed or chair REQUIRES coddling!
Along with the pain, the exhaustion can afflict my mental well being and
my mental exhaustion as well. Finding the energy and ABILITY to “get my own drink” can be so difficult it needs a cuddlier!
Fibromyalgia is an extremely difficult to diagnose Very difficult to manage as well. I truly believe that no one can understand fibromyalgia unless they live in our skin. Your daughter needs to become aware of the condition and seek to understand.
God bless your daughter who seeks God’s comfort and coddling. Thanks to you, Mom.

I know the feeling of trying to find energy enough to go get a drink or food. My Doctor just diagnosed me with Fibro (thanks to all of you on these message boards for helping me out.) One of the things I told her was there are nights where i can barely get off the couch to make myself dinner, and I choose things that aren't totally healthy but i don't have the energy to make anything else. And yes that sometimes means toast or cereal.
