@jennifer0726 hello! My mother had a double on one side which had ureters attached to each one. Both kidneys were of normal size and function. I believe i was given the single kidney with ureter because she had only 80% function at 65 years old and the double was all she needed. She lived to be 75 with no problems with her kidneys. 😊 Her kidney will be 95 years old this September. Its on its way out now.
