@luckylady1315 Whenever you have a concern about whether a medical procedure was properly done or possibly caused injury, it should promptly be brought to the attention of the treating physician, and the technician's immediate supervisor.

Mayo Connect members are not medical professionals, and are not in a position to say whether the technician used proper technique nor to say what the injury risks might be.

Please report your concerns to your doctor, or if it was done in the ER, to the medical supervisors.

@sueinmn As the old aphorism goes, 'Better safe than sorry.' Clots are dangerous and if you suspect you have one, it might travel if it's true. So, get it checked!
