I was diagnosed about 2 years about with a 4.1cm TAA. I too like to travel and my cardiologist has said it is safe to do so. To easy my mind, I purchased a global medical emergency transportation insurance policy from EA+ (Emergency Assistance Plus) that covers transportation home after hospitalization from anywhere in the world including air ambulance service. It will also cover a round trip airline ticket for a family member/loved one to be by your side while you are hospitalized and many other useful services. A link to their website is below.

@eawarl Hi, thanks for the response. I currently have a subscription to Medijet. That expires in November. I’ll look into the one that you suggested EA+. I’ve used Global Rescue before when my daughter was traveling through Asia in South America. They were very good and helped her when she got sick and when she broke her toe. They were very responsive. They’re a bit pricey though. Thank you again.
