Forteo now every other day .

Forteo reduced to every other day due to elevated urine calcium. If I stay at this dose for the rest of my two years (20 months), can I realistically expect much benefit? Spine score -3.6.

@mammabear77, there is a good chance it will help. I was on a daily half dose of the similar medication Tymlos and had very good results.

theoretically yes,
make sure docs have a plan for what to follow with after Forteo.
i asked an endocrinologist that my mum had consulted once, if the injector pen was variable - it has 8 notches/ clicks on it - each ⅛th of a dose;
i wonder if you could have a half dose per day?

@acker The Forteo pen isn't adjustable like the Tymlos pen. There's no way to lower the dose.
