Interesting Discussion Tool
In a different thread @gravity3 (thank you!) mentioned the Patient Revolution website (https://www.patientrevolution.org/). I started digging around it and it led me to a really interesting, interactive tool for assessing the effectiveness of the different medications based on your current risk of fracture in the next 10 years. Perhaps this has been shared before but just in case, I thought I'd pop it out here for any newbies like me.

Really interesting - thanks for posting!
Thank you wonderful to see something put out by a major and respected clinic, sometimes so difficult to dig through the "information" from internet docs. And as we all know it can be hard to get full information at our once a year's appointments with our physicians.

1 Reactionalso patient revolution very worth looking at...
Very cool tool, thanks for the pointer! I love the graphics about how many people like yourself will not have a fracture if 100 took each drug. Definitely a statement in favor of anabolic drugs over bisphosphonates in my case of fairly mild osteoporosis.
The tool has no options to put in starting transdermal HRT as hormone medication, but that is what I expected as it is tricky due dosages and other factors (such as whether one is also taking some testosterone) vary so much. There are no big good RCT for transdermal HRT as no drug company to recoup their investment in testing.
Thanks and congratulations to Mayo Clinic on this one!
