Evenity and Cardio Warning? how significant?

Posted by dmshope @dmshope, Mar 4, 2025

Evenity had 2 trials ( Fraime and Arch) one showed increased cardio events while the other did not. What has anyone done to screen for potential risks of Evenity as it relates to its cardio warning? I have no history of cardio issues or stroke; blood pressure is low; no diabetes. . My cholestral is ususally low but since I am on full fat milk and ghee ( to gain some weight ) it has slightly increased. One endo who is very cautious and wants a full cardiologist reveiw. Another looked at my history and says I am a perfect candidate. Has anyone had expereince with cardio screening for Evenity ? thank you in advance.

Just curious if your t-scores showed improvement with your Evenity treatment and whatcwere they when you started the treatment? I am -1.8 spine and -2.6 femoral head. I am sure to be having this conversation in October with Endocrinologist.

@tracywphil: Dr wants me to wait 6 mo before DEXA to make comparisons due to his concern that Evenity continues to work for months after last injections.
My DEXA 3/24/25:
L Hip: T score -3.0
R Hip: -2.8
Average TScore: -1.4
Hoping for big bone build.
Plan to begin Fosamax early July 2026 to seal in bone density.
I’ll update with new DEXA when available.
Best bone health to all!! Bette

My blood pressure is inching up every month. I’ve had the best, dependable bp for years. Not anymore. I mention it each time, but no says a word.
