HRT Safety
I wanted to share this Medscape article I received today about new study on HRT. I am considering HRT for my osteoporosis at age 67 and am so encouraged by this article: https://www.medscape.com/s/viewarticle/hormone-therapy-after-65-good-option-most-women-2024a10007b2

Just back up a page or two.
@mayblin, Coincidentally, I just received this related article from Medscape in my inbox with a discussion between two MDs specializing in hormone and sexual medicine: https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/real-danger-women-isnt-hormone-therapy-its-bad-science-2026a1000e28

3 Reactions@debbie1956, thanks debbie. This is a powerful reminder that MHT is not one-size fits all. Given the gaps in high quality research, risk evaluation remains highly individualized and a complex shared decision-making process. For women 65 and older, this continues to be a treacherous maze.
Next OsteoBoston Session:
The next webinar meeting will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 4th at 7 pm when we host Endocrinologist and researcher, Dr. Amanda Clark on Menopausal Hormone Treatments--everything you'd want to know about HRT therapies.

3 ReactionsP.S. That is 7 PM EDT. The moderator, Shelly, will send out the recording a few days later if you are registered with Osteoboston -- and it's free.
