has anyone ever had a problem with their circopharugel bar the muscle

Hi, @snoots - wondering if you would share a bit more about what is going on with you or a loved one related to the cricopharyngeal bar? Was this something discovered in a barium swallow, or through something else occurring?

Its me! I have copd, but I started having issues with swallowing when I got out of hospital a year ago on hi flow oxygen for pneumonia. I bad a barium xray was good, Then i had the modified barium swallow which showed like the muscle and a raise funny looking lump that the good I swallowed came out over the hump and down esophagus where my food slowed down. Has upper endoscopic and i a i little torque esophagus that he dilated it yo 57 I take s ppi and h2 blocker. Seen I have reflux but this meds don’t help and I have lost weight like crazy.
