Having Wegovy digestive issues ?

Posted by mayomee @mayomee, Jun 7 2:45pm

Beginning to have problematic digestion issues with Wegovy 4 mg. Senior male, weight loss has been good. Started with 1.5 mg for almost 2 months. Decided to go to 4 mg. On that dosage for a few weeks. Now having stomach aches and diarrhea. Was using Benefiber and probiotic gummies, trying Metamucil and the gummies now, Imodium helps, stomach feels full, and hurts, anyone having similar issues or suggestions?

Yes, my doctor has filled out the questionaire, gave me a sleep study and ordered a C-Pap after the test showed mod obstuctive sleep apnea. I couldn't tolerate the C-Pap so next would be to submit order for terzepatide.

@catherine1290 - sounds like you and your doctor are partnering nicely together on this.

It’s a known fact that the world has been waiting forever for a drug that helps people lose weight, what a joy for many people today that can now take this drug and shed pounds. I’m not someone that requires this medication but rather I struggle with keeping weight on me, of course no one sees that as a problem, in fact they think I’m lucky. I have read so many testimonials about the side effects of this drug, perhaps the weight loss is from all the side effects, diarrhea and vomiting, dear God what a tragedy, sure there’s always the fortunate ones that benefit from it but who knows what they will get down the road from having used it. I do believe that medication is necessary in our world for major diseases but it’s just over the top today with a pill for everything that bothers you, most of the discussions are about the side effects that people are suffering from. Try not to forget that pharmaceutical companies are businesses and they make huge profits from their products, many of our children are being targeted more and more, they suffer from depression because their world is troubled and the medications prescribed have profound consequences like suicidal ideation. I’m truly sorry for everyone who has been affected by this tragedy and I hope that one day we will realize that this is not the answer for us, praying for the day that help doesn’t always have to come from medication.
