Can red light therapy help pain caused by rotator cuff tear
I am trying to find out more about red light therapy to help with then pain and inflammation from my rotator cuff significant tear. Is there any specific one that is recommended or you had success with alleviating the pain. Also again the prp shot was recommended and thoughts on that.[

I have spinal stenosis complicated by scoliosis & surgery to correct this problem would involve complex spinal fusion surgery and I have been trying to avoid that for years. About 4 years ago, I started taking gabapentin and this solved the problem up until about 4 weeks ago--I had little or no pain. For example, I have been able to walk 3 miles at a fast pace & swim laps .7 miles daily. But now, I am having pain in my lower right back that occurs when I walk, stand for a while, and when I try to swim (except for the sidestroke which I can still do without pain!). I just had an MRI & don't have the results back yet but I suspect that my spinal stenosis has gotten worse & it might require surgery (which I still want to avoid). So I am searching for some method of dealing with the pain that does not require surgery . Thanks very much for your information. I appreciate it.
I also have significant pain from a rotator cuff tear. I can't take NSAIDS, so only taking Tylenol. I began PT this last week, and already I am much improved. Therapist has used stretches, massage, and strengthening exercises, and will do some dry needling beginning this week.
