@kellmom4

Sorry to hear about this Kellmom4. I’ve had a similar situation from four different reports 8 years apart. The first (2018 Toronto) was a 4.5cm ascending and a bi-cuspid value. The second (2020) was a tri-leaflet valve and 3.5cm dilation and at a hospital in Dundee Scotland. The Third (2023 Toronto) was 4.5cm and Tri-leaflet. And a fourth (2026 Toronto) was 4.7cm and a tri-leaflet.

Having said this I’ve learned to focus so much more on living a healthy lifestyle. Regular exercise, reasonable diet and lots of stress relieving methods. In speaking with so many health care folks over the last 8 years the best advice they’ve given me is to keep my blood pressure in check. So as much as this entire ordeal can be mentally draining at times try and be mindful of the many things we can do to manage it. The good news is that we know about it so we’re able to make the best life style adjustments to mitigate further effects. It took me several years to understand this but today I’m in a good place. Best of luck with your journey!

@indigo1955 you are just watching at time? So do you not have a bicuspid valve? That is good news. Good luck to you.
