Five weeks post PFA. I had an RF ablation in 2006. Was afib free up until about a year ago. EP was surprised it lasted that long. I use the Kardia device to measure a 6-lead EKG. It shows I have had AFIB almost every day,, There were about 5 days that I did not have it. I see my EP Monday, and he wants to install a Watchman, but that is a different issue. Sometimes I can really feel it; others not so much. My rate stays low but irregular. Take Metoprolol and Flecainide. However, this past week, my HR fell to 38 according to my smart ring. Is that a concern? My avg for that same day was 55 bpm, and my past 30 days' average has been 60.

Since I mentioned the Watchman, how long after an ablation was it put in? A little irritated he didn't mention it before the ablation and killed two birds with one stone.

@bohaiboy 38 is a little low, but only if your heart is not strong and fit. If your heart is in arrhythmia when this happens, it is probably, not certainly, something to worry over. The tell is if you have syncope, shortness of breath, failing vision, falls. If you can stand from seated and move around and not have to grab a wall or a chair, you're probably okay. First time you fall though, if you realize afterwards that you fogged out or actually fainted, then it's time to see a doctor.
