Hi! I am so sorry you are going through this and I am very happy to help! I had actually written out a long reply and then it got deleted so I will make this one more brief but feel free to ask more questions.

I basically never tried doing it intermittently. I thought it was going to suppress ovulation so I was taking it throughout the month. That said, I did multiple months of it at once every 7 days and that never seemed to work fully so I increased it to once every 5 days. Thats not to say that if you tried a higher dose (say 100 mg instead of 50 mg) like twice a month that might also work but I am not sure. My advice would be to perhaps first try out what I am doing to see if that works for you and then you could titrate it down? But I dunno I am the only person I know who is doing this so and N of 1 doesn't really help. Ultimately take a lot of notes about what is going on and be advised it might take like 2 months to become fully effective. If you notice it getting better even a little bit I would suggest sticking to it! Also I tracked my ovulation at the same time with this urine test tracker device you can load onto your phone (meant for people trying to get pregnant) so I knew it was working because I knew I was in my luteal phase with higher progesterone not getting cramps whereas before taking it I would get it every day of the luteal phase.

Good luck and keep me posted!

Thanks for the info! I'm willing to help with an experiment of n=2. I'll update how things go.

Any advice on finding a Dr to prescribe the mifepristone? It seems nearly all repro endocrinologists locally (VA) are fertility clinics. I have had NO luck with my gyno office but can try if that's my only option.
