Yes biopsy has been done but they keep going back and forth and not being clear if it’s anal or vaginal or if it started in the thin wall so they say treatment is different chemo depending on the origin.

@rdemarco65, I moved your question to the Gynecologic Cancers support group until you learn if it is anal related. Here you'll find support from people who have experience with treatment to the genital area.

How frustrating this must be for you and your wife. I'm sure you're anxious to move forward with treatment and any delay is worrying. However, it is important that her team be sure of the type of cancer cells they're dealing with to give her the treatment that is going to be the most effective.

Is your wife at an NCI-designated cancer center of excellence? Has her team suggested she get a second opinion at a top cancer center like Mayo Clinic?
