I have a colostomy and would like to be part of an ongoing support group that deals with living with an ostomy

There is a Mayo Virtual Support group that meets the first Tuesday of the month. This months meeting is next week, July 7th. More info here;

The St. Paul Ostomy group meets the 3rd Saturday of the month at a church at 3239 70th Street E., in Inver Grove Heights, MN, from 10:00 to 12:00 AM with varying speakers and break out groups at the end of the meeting for ileostomies, colostomies, and urostomies.
Also, the Phoenix Magazine (a magazine to order with great articles and information) lists various Ostomy organizations (and their group leaders with their contact information) by state at the end of the magazine.
