Leg infection that flared up in July

I'm glad you have a trip planned! I have recurring infections of my lower legs and ankles. If I get a scratch, it will get infected. In my case it might be due to the biologic infusion I get every 8 weeks for 12 years. I have RA that seems to be morphing into Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA). So I have rashes that I never had before, and these infections.
I hope you can find a good way to heal before your trip. I usually end up at Urgent Care and have been prescribed mupurocin ointment that I use for a week. My infection will look better in 3 days, but I continue the full dose.

@jw9 thank you for your response. It’s s a struggle dealing with these infections and knowing someone else is going through the same is comforting
