@acker: Regarding Fosamax:
Fosamax Clinical Guidelines on initiating dosage following Evenity 12th treatment for Osteoporosis is as follows:
Preventing bone loss following 12 months of Evenity is to begin Fosamax (Alendronate) 70mg ( 1 tablet per week First Thing Upon Awakening with a Full Glass of Water remain standing/sitting - DO NOT LIE DOWN, EAT or DRINK FOR 30 MINUTES - within 4 weeks of last dose of Evenity (without delay)! This will preserve the bone density gains you have achieved. Be sure to review the medication guidelines and side effect possibilities!
I hope the above info will assist fellow Osteoporosis patients preparing to begin next “lock in” medication for best bone density results. Best health to you…
