@bill404 definitely get a nutritionist doctor to work with you and work out an exact right meal plan I eat four meals a day. The last one is at 4:30 and I go to sleep at nine and it's a very very small meal so I won't have reflux, but I am on omeprazole you need the exact right amount of salt, carbs, protein, fiber, grains, vegetables, fruit.

@naoshapiro1 Did you try elevating your bed about 10-12 inches at the head? On Amazon, they sell wedges for the bed, and you can still use your pillow. It helps a lot.
You should eat slowly also. I eat about 5-6 meals a day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but in between I have snacks. I originally lost about 40 lbs after surgery (no complaints here). So far, I've gained about 6 back. It takes time. I enjoy my meals more. Also, don't drink too much during your meals.
Also, between bites, put your fork down, take your time, chew more, and just enjoy it.
