@acker: Regarding Fosamax:
Fosamax Clinical Guidelines on initiating dosage following Evenity 12th treatment for Osteoporosis is as follows:
Preventing bone loss following 12 months of Evenity is to begin Fosamax (Alendronate) 70mg ( 1 tablet per week First Thing Upon Awakening with a Full Glass of Water remain standing/sitting - DO NOT LIE DOWN, EAT or DRINK FOR 30 MINUTES - within 4 weeks of last dose of Evenity (without delay)! This will preserve the bone density gains you have achieved. Be sure to review the medication guidelines and side effect possibilities!
I hope the above info will assist fellow Osteoporosis patients preparing to begin next “lock in” medication for best bone density results. Best health to you…

that's a great idea, the manufacturers might have a specialist you can consult with on the phone? or online.
make sure your doc gives details how to take the tablet, it's quite particular, have to sit upright half an hour with it and something like no food or drink.
that's why prolia became popular with prescribers, as they didn't have to worry about patients taking it incorrectly.
hope it's simple and helpful for you.
