Has anybody tried it and been unable to get it off? (talking about the ring coming off)
What would you do in that situation? Careful application of a serrated steak knife?

@daveys I would try working a small wire cutter or scissors under the ring and try cutting it. Definitely stay away from a knife. You may never need another ring if you slip with the knife!
