@pmgreen Hi, I am going to start the treatment for MAC in a few weeks, after seeing an ID doc. I'll take the fatigue (I already have it anyway). In my case, I can't live with persistent pneumonia, which has been going on for 3 months. Just curious: Did you wait for 4 years due to a watch and wait protocol?

@ursala7 I was diagnosed in 2018, just started Big 3 at the end of March. Virtually no symptoms until early this year.

@ursala7 yes, they hD identify two bacteria at first but this spring they said that one had disappeared and the one they are now treating is microbacteria a I'm complex. I have had a number of CT's and it showed significant growth. Hence ID dr said it was time for treatment. Good luck.

Microbacteria avium complex is what I have.
