Are you on Medicare or commercial/private insurance?
Many members here on Medicare have mentioned that Part-D now has a $2,200 annual out-of-pocket cap, which can really help with costs.
If you have commercial/private insurance, it's worth looking into manufacturer copay coupons:

@mayblin, Thank you so much for providing these links. I am on an AARP UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plan. $2200 annual out-of-pocket sounds good. I worried after my endocrinologist visit when she said I'll be paying about $27 000 - $29 000 per year. The specialty pharmacy is ready to ship. How does this financial part work? Do I need to apply for the manufacturer coupons before the specialty pharmacy ships it?
