Medical marijuana vape for pain relief from Peripheral Neuropathy?
Hello,
Does anyone here use a vape cartridge for pain relief? My feet hurt all the time, not terrible in the morning but by evening they scream at me. I find that a single puff makes all the pain and worry all go away for about 90 minutes, then I fall asleep. I only use it at night, and have tried not doing it two nights in a row, but as the pain gets worse I have used it two nights in a row, and last night was the first time I had it three nights in a row.
I’m concerned about my body getting used to it, and that it will stop working. I’m 58, in great health, and want to know I will have this relief for many years.
I guess the question is, if I use it too much now, will I lose it later, when it will probably be so much worse?

2 Reactions@artemis1886 try ordering gummies from FiveCBD or CBD Marketplace.com for gummies that are 5mg or 2mg THC and CBD 100 or 200mg but Delta 8 hemp plants which is not regulated by FDA.
Henny check out MedTerra.com or CBDmarketplace.com for gummies without THC.
I just received some from Blue Moon Hemp. First night was great.
Maybe that was a coincidence, will know more by the end of the week.

2 ReactionsHow good now ?
@pacodennis I was on gabapentin for about 10 years until I was asked to try Lyrica for a different condition -
Wow. Lyrica gives significant pain relief... Without the 'buzz'. I enjoyed the relaxing side effects from gabapentin for the longest time, but beyond 1800mg it seemed to cause almost as much fuzzy neuropathy as the painful neuropathy it replaced. Still better than pain And more sustainable then opiates for me at least. If lyrica came out first I bet it wouldn't even be a controlled 5 substance whereas gabapentin would be at least a level 5 IMHO.
I have a feeling that you know very well the answer to your question.
No one can predict the future. Your body is ever changing.
Be positive, work with what you have, keep your ears open, explore all possibilities, talk to people who use medicinal pot.
Worth investigating.

3 ReactionsWelcome @angelbound, thanks for sharing what helps you with the neuropathy pain. I one of the lucky ones, if you can call it that, to only have numbness and some tingling in my legs and feet with idiopathic small fiber peripheral neuropathy. I just try to take it one day at a time and keep moving. Lots of other discussions in the Neuropathy Support group if you want to look around - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/neuropathy/.
