Profuse sweating

Posted by asolidrock @asolidrock, Jun 23 8:42pm

I just started having episodes of profuse sweating at times while outside or even in cold environments
I don't have fluctuations in hot flashes much anymore; this is something totally different I meaning sweat like I'm out in the rain. Does any one have these issues.

At about 1.75 months in on ADT. I get warm-hot periods but what I find more annoying is getting cold. Like I have no temp regulation.

Good to hear you’re staying undetectable. Definitely sounds like things are working well for you.

I’ve been undetectable for the last 31 months. Get another test tomorrow and see if it’ll go to 32.

With my dodgy eyesight, I thought it said 'Profuse swearing".
Yes... that's totally a side-effect of prostate cancer.

@asolidrock Yes. Very sorry you are going through that. That would be very annoying.

My hot flushes are like that — hair damp like I just stepped out of the shower, sweat dripping down into my desk. Fortunately, they're rarer than they were a few years ago.

For me, the best answer is a fan: sit in front of one until you dry out. I also have a portable fan similar to this one, that I can carry in a satchel, backpack, or even the pocket of my cargo shorts.

@peterj116

Actually, it is a side-effect of low testosterone caused by ADT drugs.
