@deloachj1 That is a 10 point, but 20% drop. Since adverse effects from Farxiga are more common for Type 2 diabetics you should bring this up with your doctor to make sure everything is okay. Also make sure you are well hydrated since that is a common problem. Besides the use for CKD Farxiga should lower blood sugar since it allows glucose and sodium to past into the urine.

@jim18 Thank you! I'm seeing my nephrologist tomorrow afternoon, and I already have my list of questions ready. I've also stopped taking the Farxiga as of yesterday. The doctor did not inform me of the potential side effects and left me with the impression that this was to prevent the protein from leaking. Do you or anyone else know if this protein is the type that's found in food, or is it a protein that is made in our bodies? Thanks again for taking the time to answer my concerns.
