@fckaiser Just checking in to see if you had your consult with the hernia surgeon and if they can do something about your prolapse.

Susan,
Yes, they can do something about my prolapse if I decide to do it. It is not super bothersome right now and has been behaving lately. They would do a mesh attachment inside to prevent the prolapse if needed. I can go weeks with no prolapse, then for no reason my stoma will prolapse for a couple of weeks. I have found if I sprinkle sugar on it, it tends to recede. So I am going to put off surgery for right now and see how things go. I always have that option if it gets too bothersome. Thankfully, with gentle pressure I can always push it back in. Thanks for asking.
