So nice to see such support from you for your wife.
It is smart both of you are concerned about pain killer intake. Sometimes less but a stronger med is worth it. For example if she gets more relief for a longer time frame. Sorry that all her efforts seeking relief so far haven't resolved her pain. I know how frustrating it is having some of her like pain symptoms. No results & working toward less meds since they mostly don't want relieve pain. You're bound to get good feedback, support & tips from folks here. Being open minded about trying new approaches is key. Utilizing some pain distraction techniques can reduce overall frustration, anger & ugh, so such tools can be new 'best-y' go to's. Bravo to you both for tackling this together. All the best.

@ellesea01 Hi!
I too find it so nice to see your support of your wife. I couldn't make it without the support of mine.
What you describe sounds a lot like what Im going through now. I have had back issues for more than a decade and have gone through multiple fusions and too many to count treatments of various kinds.
Recently my tailbone, buttocks, and right hamstring started hurting badly. The ER took CT scans and Xrays and found nothing.
However, when another doctor requested another CT of my pelvis, they found a fracture in my tailbone and arthritis in both SI joints. The pain is really bad and I know I couldn't get any relief for this with OTC meds. Has any Doctor looked at your sacrum and SI joints?
I hope she gets relief soon.
