Welcome to Mayo Connect.
What you describe could be caused by hormonal changes. My menopause was due to a total hysterectomy, so menopause came on quickly. I do remember crying spells for no reason and being very emotional. The worst part was the lack of sleep due to hot flashes. It is very hard to deal with things during the day if you do not get enough sleep. After 6 months, I was put on hormone therapy. I had my hysterectomy at 40 years old.

This article by the Cleveland Clinic discusses mood swings during menopause and includes suggestions:

In some areas, there are specialty clinics that focus on menopause. For example, Mayo has a Menopause and Women's Sexual Health Clinic:

Have you talked to your provider about your symptoms and how they are affecting your life?

@roch thank you for responding. I have talked to providers about it and wanted to put me on SSRI’s but I have had bad side affects that have not worked for me. As I’m speaking these symptoms have been improving in the last week. Thanks for the resources.
